Location of 01P_700SOL

Hello Gurus,

we want to update ST-A/PI to new 01P_700.

But we can not find the 01P_700SOL Package.

This is needed for SolMan only.

Has somone installed the 01P_700 ???

OSS Message is closed.
The issue does not exist any more.

Self diagnostics are green now.
Why: I don't know. (SAP Global Support was remote at SolMan)
OSS gives no answer, sorry.

Hello gurus,

I have problem , we were on SP4 and now upgraded to SP5 .After Upgrade SOLMAN_SETUP

System Prepartion -System Check Failed " Error -ST-A/PI 01P_700 is not installed". the current ST-A/PI version is ST-A/PI 01N_700SOL.

Since i already have the component ST-A/PI 01N_700SOL, please advice how to install the ST-A/PI 01P_700. If we do it through SAINT , we will be having two addon components of ST-A/PI ?

          -> Choose ST-A/PI" ST-A/PI  01Q_700    

Select Install

Download Package SAPKITAB7J

Install with SAINT.

Hi all,

I run in the same issue with SPS3. I updated the ST-A/PI plugin manual which was recommended by RTCCTOOL. Unfortunately this was the wrong way. As you can see for SPS3 and SPS4 you have to keep the plugin version on 01N_700SOL. In the following SAP note you will find the details for the different solution manager SPS:

Note 1483508 - Solution Manager 7.1: Root Cause Analysis pre-requisites

With SPS5 there comes the ST-A/PI 01P_700 as a minimum release. There will be no special plugin for Solution Manager like it was with 01N_700SOL.

Please have also a look to the SP Stack 5 note:

After SPS 5 installation you also need to implement the following two notes to fix the issues with the prerequisites checks:

Here you can find the required package. Kindly go through the Info. section also on the same page. It

contains information about the 01P_* packages.

this is what i have done. But there is no package for SolMan. SolMan need 01P_700SOL not 01P_700.

Note: As of 11th June 2012 a new addon version 01P* of addon ST-A/PI has

become available. The addon matrix was simplified to one addon per basis

for releases >= 610. This one addon contains all application checks (ERP

CRM SCM) for this basis in comments. An own addon was created for basis

731. The uncomment step = "Procedure after addon implementation" now

runs automatically as an XPRA (1-3 min). The addons have standard

upgrade behaviour.

The older 01N* version will still be sufficient for service preparation

until 11th July 2012.

Use the matrix below to find the exact release (only 1) which is valid

for your system. If you are unsure, display the content of table CVERS

on your system in transaction SE16, check your SAP_BASIS release and

look for components SAP_APPL, BBPCRM, SAP_APO or SCM. For SAP basis >=

610 there is only one addon per basis. For <= 46D, if you find one of

the entries in brackets (), take the corresponding addon release, else

take the 01P_xxx_BCO that matches your SAP_BASIS release. You cannot

implement any wrong release, it would be refused by transaction SAINT

with 'Prerequisites not met'.

yes i have read the whole note before. We have implemented 01P_700 in SolMan. But we get the following Error from Self-Diagnosis. It's confusing.

Hello Chris,

Sorry for the late reply. ST-A/PI 01P_700 is applicable for the solution manager system.

This might be a bug or something so I will suggest you to create a message with SAP in

SV-SMG-DIA-SRV-CHK component.

Please make sure R/3 and http connection to solman system is open.

have you checked this is the reason from 6.10 onwards we are getting single addon.

so there is no point in looking for 01P_700SOL. it is only 01P_700.

This is a known issue to the SAP development support. A note should be released soon for this issue.

could you have any update, SAP released the Note? I also stuck the same. I found sap note 1599582, is it related to our issue,

or any other SAP Open oss is there, and still workarround

Me and my team ran into this problem today as well.

When we tried to apply the note in SNOTE, it would download and when it finished, it would just dissapear.

We tried to refresh and we downloaded the note several times, but we had the same result everytime.

Did you have this problem? If you did, how did you correct it?
