Dear All,
I am new to QM.
Where do i enable or disable QM module plantwise?
Is QM module is mandatory for all plants?
Kindly advice.
Regards
hi,
QM activation either at client level or at plant level is posiible. U need to maintain through SPRO. it is according to ur business requirement. Configuration of inspection type and other settings will enable it at both levels.
QM activation as far as process wise is concern, normally in combination with material and plant.
u can activate at material level also but again this is as per the requirement.

Hi Balaji,
If you want to activate QM For particular plant we have to "maintain settings at plant level", in SPRO means for which plant you want to activate QM just maintain that plant and corresponding details.
While creating material we have to select the QM View and maintain the inspection types as per the requirement that is going to controls navigation of the QM activated materials
Depends on the scenarios and the Requirements we use the Quality managment, some of the plant require QM and other may not, For example Most of the times process industries are going to maintain QM as manditory
Thanks & Regards:

Its very basic question & probably you would have got answer easily
But still
In QM view of material master -->Inspection types that would actually controls the Most of QM settings.
