Dear DP Experts

I wanted to understand visually what does "Reorganize Live Cache Objects in the Background" actually do

How is this different from

- Deleting and creating  the time series again

- Initialiazing the live cache

Related question. What does delete live cache anchors actually delete and whether and how it is related to deleting and creating the time series in the planning area again

Appreciate your responses if possible with an example.

Hello Guru,

/SAPAPO/OM25 deletes old transactional simulation data, and old Optimizer logs. For more information, see SAP Notes 139558 and 679118. To check whether this job is scheduled, use transaction /SAPAPO/OM13 → Checks tab.

Thanks Michel,

I did look into the same notes. Its explained well step by step. Consulting notes + help.com + context help seem to be mutually exclusive but collectively exhaustive. Thats lots of reading to figure out something about a standard  program without having to read code that I can only pretend to understand 🙂
