Regarding hardware sizing

Hi

            Suppose if there are 500 users need to access  sap-production server , then how many instances we have to configure and what should be the RAM size...

In addition to figuring out the SAPs using quicksizer tool , I would also suggest you go though the SAP standard application benchmarking results on different vendor hardwares.

Go though the SD 2-tier and 3-tier benchmark results.

Also every hardware vendor have custom tools to figure out the configuration your company requires.

So consult with each of your preferred hardware vendors.

Hello,

It is recommended to use quicksizer and find out the SAPS. After this discuss with your hardware vendor to know the sizing details. Generally you should use double the SAPS calculated from quicksizer.
