Need to build product catalog using MDM

Dear All,

We want to build Product Catalog for our sales/ marketing team using SAP MDM, also want to use Webforms as UI.

What are the possibility and if yes, then could you please forward documents or suggest best solution for this requirement.

Hi Abhi,

For using the Catalog in SAP MDM You can use SRM-MDM Catalog repository and display the catalog in SRM portal.

You can also go for Family Mode in MDM Data Manager to create different families according to the product and display either in Web form or Printed paper Catalog using Print Publisher.

Thanks for your reply.

Actually , as i mentioned this catalog is built for the sales team/ Marketing ( so that they can refer the catalog for product detail like product details , images attributes etc  while selling  ) team and not for vendors/ procurement purpose, so do you think SRM will be a good solution for this ?

secondly, lets say if i build product catalog in MDM using publisher, then what is the possibility to expose this catalog from MDM to webforms ( ABAP WebDynpro based) ??
