Solution Manager Incident Management - user roles ??

Hi Experts,

I would like to configure a solman 7.1 for VAR. The S usert was generated by AI_SDK_SP_GENERATE_BP_V2

I want 2 different user for test.

One of them would be the customer ( S1) and the other  is the processor (P1).

Can you tell me where an how can I configure it an give them the correct roles.

At this moment a customer user (S1) have only one role: SAP_SMWORK_INCIDENT_MAN

But It can not create a new message due to his error:

You do not have authorization to display partners. Please check your assignment of authorization object: B_BUPA_RLT.

If your company use the solman for VAR please let me know the correct role setting for users.

Hello.

If you are using SM 7.1 SP4 then:

  • End user should have composite role SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE_COMP for creating incidents and SAP_SUPPDESK_DISPLAY_COMP for displaying them. But pay special attention to the fact that end users should work only with workcenters (up to new SP5) because while working with CRM_UI they will see all incidents (not only theirs but all).
  • Processor should have composite role SAP_SUPPDESK_PROCESS_COMP

I assigned these roles, and I separated the customer and the staff/processor web site. The customer will use the asg_workcenter and the processors will use the crm_ui_start web interface.
