Dear All,
Is it possible to check somehow available budget in the SRM 7.0 when creating Call-offs?
Thank you
Gabor
For call offs or contract release POs budget will be checked if funds management is active in ECC system.
For example if the budget exceeds there will be error message.
However the display of remaining budget is not possible at the time of PO creation.
It can be checked directly in FI transaction.

Malay

Dear Malay,
thank you for the answer.
i would have 2 questions: (unfortunately right now I do not have access to the SRM system)
Could you please send me the basic technical processes/steps during this check?
is it a correct assumption that
1. In SRM a function module starts
2. SRM sends information (Idoc?) to SAP ECC
3. SAP ECC runs a standard budget check
4. SAP ECC sends the result back to SAP SRM (with Idoc?)
5. SRM drops a warning message if Budget is exceeded. The error message contains any budget relevant information? I mean, e.g. the error message details the exact difference between remaining bugdet and Shopping Cart amount or just "the fact" that the budget was exceeded?
Thank you
Gabor
Hi,
Budget checks in SRM are done using Account Assignment object WBS elements.
You should refer following link; it will guide you to implement budget functionality.
