POWL_WLOAD - DUMP

Hi,

Running POWL_WLOAD to refresh my queries in MSS, program returns OK with number of queries refreshed.

But in MSS it always reset the counter.

If I go to ST22, I can see lots of short dump from my last POWL_WLOAD running.

Someone have an idea about it?

and remove this iview from your MSS homepage, ie Component Name: HRMSS_C_CATS_APPR_DASHBRD

or make elements which required a CATS profile hidden in the configuration for the floorplan manager

and also does this mss user has CATS profile maintained in CVR parameter in su01

Thanks for your reply.

I know discovered the issue, but not a solution yet.

I'm running POWL_WLOAD with a user that is not assigned to any employee.

POWL_WLOAD says OK, but on debug, it raises a message when reading the personnel number from the user.

it means only users who has infotype 105 can run it... is that right?

its more administrative report and shouldnt require 0105 ie for the user running it

do you know for which user it dumps, if any MSS user is misisng 0105 then it makes sense that there is an error.

check in the debug and assign the missing 0105 if necessary

Hi Meera,

Thanks for your inputs.

But no success.

In my MSS page I'm getting a message:

"Last query refresh failed due to internal errors; contact your admin."

"The system returned the following error message:"

"Exception condition "PROFILE_NOT_FOUND" raised."

I'm on ECC6 Release 702, ran both program POWL_D01 and POWL_WLOAD, both for my application ID. running those program with my back end user and after that log on in the MSS with a portal manager user and getting this error.

Hi Angelo,

Normally this error comes on ESS when the system is looking for a CATS Data Entry Profile, which has not been assigned to the user. But I believe that you know that as you can enter the data in the time sheet,
anyway it is always good to remember.

This CATS profile can be assigned to the user either via the User Parameter 'CVR', with the name of the Date Entry Profile entered as the parameter value, or by creating a default ESS Data Entry Profile.  R/3
can then assign a profile to the employee even if the user parameter CVR has not been explicitly set.  The CATS Data Entry Profiles are stored in the table TCATS.

For more information on creating the default Data Entry Profile, see the
IMG, under Cross-Application Components -> Time Sheet ->Specific
Settings for CATS -> CATS regular -> Set Up Data Entry Profiles.

For more information on the CVR user parameter setting, see the SAP
Library, under Cross-Application Components -> Cross-Application Time
Sheet (CATS) -> User Interfaces -> CATS regular.

As it is in MSS when approving, here i am giving you some information
which will help you in this regard (PROFILE_NOT_FOUND) please try this
and let me know your observations.

In the IMG (transaction SPRO), go to
- SAP Customizing Implementation Guide
  - Cross-Application Components
    - Time Sheet
      - Specific Setting for CATS regular
        - CATS regular
          - Approve Working Time
            - Define Field Selection for Individual Approval View
            - Define Field Selection for Detail View

In the two views for field selection mentioned above, please re-define all field selections, even if you are choosing the same fields as provided by SAP.

Also check the settings in view V_CATS_APPR_CUST and V_CATS_APPR_LINK

Hi Meera,

No lucky.

The error for profile not found was "fixed" when I've run POWL_D01 and deleted everything from buffer.

But I continue with the counter issue. that was the main issue, running POWL_WLOAD to refresh my queries, so when I enter to MSS i can see it with real numbers.

Issues is not only with Time, but all queries from MSS INBOX.

Thanks for the input.

I've saw that page, tried some combination in running those programs, but I can't find a way to have the counter updated.

It only updates when I click on the query. As per suggestion of POWL_WLOAD, simple run and you should be able to see it on MSS page.

My configuration is basic standard, nothing changed in WD.
