Unable to move TR in SOLMAN

Hi,

We are facing unusual problem in Solman. When we try to move TR, status in solman doesn't get changed and even TR does not get released from dev to qas or from qas to prod.

All the time manual import has to be done, which is hectic and frustrating .

System : SAP EHP 1 for SAP Solution Manager 7.0

We have tried Ibase regeneration and system landscape refresh, but still problem persists.

Please let us know how to proceed on this. Appreciate a quick response.

Hi All,

We are facing issue only while moving TR containg role changes. Solman works fine when moving other type of changes.

Let me know if this has anything to do with SAP system memory?

As roles occupies considerable amount of memory, I feel our Solman is unable to move it due to memory constraints.

Please guide!!!

Hi Deeraj,

here are some questions, which may be helpful:

- what kind of transaction type do you use: urgent correction or normal correction?

- could you release the transport request? Which information do you get, reading the transport protocol?

-  are there any warnings in the transcation type? (yellow messages)

- in case of urgent corrections: have you checked the task list (H000...) ?

  There might be a detailed error message (e.g. "objects in task list are not locked")

- did you check the maintenance cycle (transaction solar_project_admin)?

Hi Horst,

We are using normal correction for most of the changes to be moved.

There are no errors as such, it is just that TR never gets released from dev. Please find the steps below:

1. solman and corresponding TR created.

2. changes added to TR in DEV.

3. subtask released manually.

4. main task i sreleased through solman.

We are facing after step 4. Unfortunately TR never gets released. If we check in logs, it always says"yet to be executed".

Hi Jai,

We are using Solution manager 7.0 ehp1 for our landscape. Yes i can confirm all the post installation has been done.

Its been a year now, never faced any issue ..
