Notification Task status missing when task is created

Hello Friends, When I create a notification task in t-code QM02 (ECC 6.0) the status field for the task comes as blank. We cannot delete this task and not able to edit the status of this tasks. Can anyone suggest how to overcome this issue? Regards Vrishali

In QCc0--->Quality Noti -->Noti Processing -->define status profile -->Status Profile for Notification Type-->have you assigned the certificate profile to tasks.

Thanks for your reply.

For same notifications when I am creating other tasks, the task status is available. Only for some tasks, it is not available. Same task when created later has the correct status.

I dont think it has any relationship with certificate profile.
