Error in Budget transfer

Dear Experts,

I have two wbs elements say  A and B are in  same level .A having amount 3000 and B having amount 3000.now im going to tranfer 1000/- from A to B ..But it showing error...."

Overall budget less than overall release

Message no. BQ076"

.For this  i have tried unrelease the budget in cj32 ...Eventhough it is not taking ...Is there any seperate transaction code for unrelease the budget..?  ...kindly suggest ....

Hi,

You have budgeted A & B Rs. 3000 each for (Overall/annual). Suppose you have released Rs.2000 from A & B (Overall/annual). Now, you have only Rs.1000 only in A to transfer to B. If you want to transfer Rs.2000 from A to B, you have to unrelease Rs.1000 from A and make sure that overall/annual budget available to transfer from A to B.

Go to CJ32-->select overall-->reduce released amount in A, select 2012-->reduce released amount (do Total up in both cases). Now, you can transfer amount from A to B.

Hi Suma,

Check the actual and commitments.

You can unrelease the budget which is free.(budget 200, release 100, actuals+comm 75, then you can reduce the release to 75+ only )

After this you can transfer the budget.

There is no seperate t code(other than cj32) for this.

How much you has released out of 3000 against both WBS.

Hope u didn't forget to total UP.
