SM51 Wrong Host Name

During my installation I used the parameter SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME to install the system on a virtual host.  This ran without error and it renamed my profiles correctly according to the virtual host.  I have also ensured that SAPLOCALHOST and SAPGLOBALHOST have the correct host name in my profile.  However, even though both of those are accurate I am still seeing the wrong host name in SM51.  I have also ensured that the virtual host name exists in my hosts table.  I am running NW 7.0 on OS/400.  My instance names are also using the correct virtual host name.  It just seems to be incorrect in SM51 and SMMS.

Hi ,

Check all hostname references of  virtual host name in sap profiles, profile name convention and environment files like.sapenv*,.dbenv* ) Restart SAP with virtual host name  and check in SM51  to see if all are pointing to virtual host name.

Thanks,

Ravi
