sxmb_moni in EBP with RFC

I have a SOAP to RFC scenario in PI 7.11. My Message originates from a third party system and arrives in PI as a SOAP message, then PI passes the message to EBP 4.0 by calling an imported remote function call. I need to be able to see the interaction of messages on EBP 4.0 sxmb_moni but with my scenario it isn't logging in EBP.Is there some configuration or trick to getting sxmb_moni logging in EBP?

if you use RFC instead of proxy then you have no monitoring at the backend system at all

use proxy messages and call RFC from the proxy - then you will be able to have monitoring in SXMB_MONI on EBP
