Hi all,
Is there any maximum limit on the number of processes with different variants running in parallel, in an APO Process Chain? Is there such a limit or is it a rule of thumb?
Would also appreciate any reference for this.
Thanks and regards,
Hi Rahul,
There is not any Rule of Thumb for this.
It actually depends on the free Work processes to be used which is decided by CPU memory & you need Basis team's help to get this info on Server. The same info will also be helpful to use parallel processing profile in various jobs to define parallel processes & block sizes.
Pl. refer http://scn.sap.com/thread/732120 & http://scn.sap.com/thread/613536 .
Regards,
Rahul
