storage unit number range skips

Hi experts,

            I have configured SU managed warehouse. When I am trying to create Transfer order and exit without saving and again creating transfer order and saving , system is taking the number range of SU by skipping some numbers.

Example ;

My current number is 1001.

by doing above acitvity system is giving 1002 in 1 st transaction which is not saved.

In same TO again i will do the same system will go for 1003 directly when i SAVE.

Why system is utilizing a number when I am not saving the document.

How to resolve this.

These are unique number like material number range.If you dont save also you will not get recover number range back.You can find same thing in material creation also.If you do not save the material then then you will not get the number back.
