Make EWM managed location to WM managed locations

Dear colleague,

        I have one EWM managed location which i need to discontinue and make it as WM managed as the process in that location are not much relevant to EWM activities.

       Can you please help me guide how i can achieve it through configuration and what are the steps i need to follow.

Hi Sandeep

Please follow below steps

Remove

>>Assign WM warehouse to EWM warehouse.

>>Defining Delivery Split by Warehouse Number

Logistics Execution → Shipping → Deliveries → Define Split Criteria for Deliveries → Delivery Split by Warehouse Number.

>>Generating the Distribution Model for ERP to EWM

Logistics Execution → Service Parts Management (SPM) → Integrate SPM with Other Components → Generate Distribution model ERP => EWM. Alternativerly, call transaction /SPE/OL19.

>>Maintaining Extended Warehouse Management-Specific Parameters

Logistics Execution → Service Parts Management (SPM) → Integrate SPM with Other Components → Maintain Extended WM-Specific Parameters.

>>Integration with Other mySAP.com Components>>Extended Warehouse Management>>Basic Settings for EWM Linkage>>Maintain Extended WM-Specific Parameters

>>Assign Warehouse Number to Warehouse Number of Decentralized SCM System

check above customization and check and Reply if it works as required.
