Is it possible to increase number of chars for product master beyond 40?

Hello,

We are in a need to increase the number of characters in product definition (or in product description) to more than 40 chars. With the research so far that I could do, understood that it is not possible to increase it beyond 40, eventhough we can reduce it.

Is there a way to increase it to say 50 chars?

Hi Manotosh,

SAP restricts the product number length to 40 characters and as you mentioned, it is not possible to increase that hard limit.
