Hi everyone,
We are currently setting up SAP in the company and I have been assigne the SAP GUI support.
I'm facing an issue with some (intensive) users : after several hours of use, the interface of SAP GUI "freeze", and the users cannot click anything (see attached screen caps). The user can still type in commands though that are still executed.
The only way around it is to ctrl/alt/del SAP GUI.
I have seen this behaviour under Windows 7 Pro SP1 and Windows 2003 SP2 (through Citrix) and with Patch Level 10 and 11...
Any hint welcome.
Hello Jean Francois,
Can you first run an installation check by running the command nwcheckworkstation?
If there are no errors reported in the GUI check, you need to follow the
process,and create a message.
Please perform and upload the ADPlus trace depending on your scenario
listed in the attached note:
http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1387962
To verify if the SAPGUI is hanging or crashing, please use the
ALT+SPACE keys and if the SAP Menu displays, then the SAPGUI is
hanging.
If there is no response from the GUI,then it has crashed.
We also require the exact steps to recreate this issue in a document.
Regards,
Jude
