Receiver Mail Adapter error

Hi ,

   Initially am sorry to say this its a little bit tricky to post my question in SCN. I agree with the older version :-).

   Am doing Upgrade the PI version from 7.0 to 7.3 ,However am getting stuck with Mail receiver adapter. It was working fine 7.0 .We configure the same parameter details in 7.3 however am getting the below error.I checked SCOT transaction and it was fine also R/3 system is able to connect to Mail server . Please provide solutions as its a little bit urgent .Thanks to all in advance!!

Hi,

It looks like your PI is not able to resolve the mail server host name "devmail" with its DNS. You have a few options here, only to name: use IP address in the communication channel, instead of "devmail".

Hi,

Please check with the BASIS team if the host file entry for the SMTP server is maintained for the PI 7.3 box.
