Hi experts!
In SRM5.0 we should offer to have attachments for internal use, which will not be transferred to the vendor as well as attachments for external use, which will be transferred to the vendor. How can we differentiate whether the attachment is for internal or external use?
Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Corinne

If you're talking about attachments that are to be sent via email along with the PO you can simply check the 'Inter.' checkbox once you've uploaded the file under 'Documents and Attachments'
Anything that is unchecked will go to the vendor, whereas anything that is checked remains internal and only the PO is transmitted.

Keith

Hi Corinne,
This is offered in SPRO itself.
Transferring Attachments (optional)
You can set up Web servers for exchanging documents. To do this you can define the following types of publishing:
Publishing Internally
This is the exchange of documents between systems that belong to your own area of responsibility (intranet).
Publishing externally
This is the exchange of documents with partners who should be given external access (from the extranet) to their own data.
If the publishing settings for external and internal access are identical, you can use a single Web server for exchanging data.
SPRO->Supplier Relationship Management->SRM Server->Define Setting for Attachments.
