Hi,

can we make postal code mandatory for specific country or sales org.

Say for china/ sales org 1000 i want to make postal code Mandatory

Say for New zealand/ sales org 9000 i want to make postal code Optional.

Pls suggest.

hI Sap sd,

Go to Tcode OY17( as dog boy already discuss ) and enter your country . here you can control whether post code is mandatory entry or not, and also you can control length of post code and checking rule.

Hi SAPSD,

if you want to make postal code as required entry in general slect your account group in Maintain field status group : Address select the radio button as required entry for which ever filed you require, incase for the particular country you can go to OY17 select the country and check the postal code required entry field.

You can make postal code 'required' for Country.

OY17 > select country > set checkbox for 'Postal code req. entry'.

Warning!  Check all existing addresses FIRST, and repair them before setting this configuration.
