Hi,
We have a requirement to accept two different idoc types and merge them into a single output file. My understanding is that using a PI 7.3 single stack java installation this is not possible due to the absence of the BPM engine. Is this a correct assumption?
Thanks
It seems so...
read here: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-27374
Notice that there is also a different product named SAP BPM to replace the old ccBPM.
However you can have some sort of a work around with a file.
I am guessing there is some sort of correlation X between the IDOCs (otherwise - even BPM won't help you)
So - you can get the first IDOC with the correlation <X> and create the file <X>.txt
Then - you receive the other IDOC and append it to the <X>.txt file already created.
I am assuming here that you get one IDOC after the other, and that what you need is just the 2 IDOCs in one file.
Hope this helps,
Imanuel Rahamim.
