HANA Variables in Visual Intelligence

Hi,

This is in relation to the thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/3193736 that was posted in the HANA forum.

a.Have installed SP01 of Visual Intelligence and connected a new document to an Analytical View in HANA with a mandatory variable. It shows the filter page and I am able to choose the attribute values I am interested in but on clicking Acquire/Connect after that nothing really happens. Is this a bug? Or am I doing something wrong? The variable works fine with a data preview on the analytical view in HANA.

b. Input parameters on my analytical view in HANA are completely ignored even with SP01 of Visual Intelligence. Any idea when this feature will be integrated?

Hi Anooj,

Variables on HANA won't be supported with the 1.0.1 release in June.

We hope to implement that feature in the July release.
