Dear all,
I create a contract, and with reference to that contract I create a sales order for partial quantity. everything works fine here.
Example:
Contractual Quantity = 25
Despatched Quantity = 10
Now Suppose I change the contract and I try creating Sales order with reference to the contract and after I click on 'Item selection'it issues a warning message the reference is incomplete but when I press enter it still shows the open quantity as 25 only whereas the open quantity should be 15 as already 10 MTs is despatched.
Please let me know why the systtem is behaving like this?
Thanks & Regards,
Anand
Hi,
In VTAA From contract to order at item level you specify the input for the field Pos./neg. quantity as + (positive)

I have tested this in SAP test system. And it is behaving differently from your above observations.
1. QC created with Target quantity = 10EA
2. Sales order created with reference to QC, with Order quantity = 2EA
3. Create another sales order, with ref to QC; in the screen of the QC (quantity contract) Open quantity = 8EA (not 10EA)
Thus if you are using some customized sales document types, then company them with respective QC and OR; along with copy control settings OR <-- QC, in VTAA

Hello,
Go to COntract to order Copy Control Records ( T-Code VTAA) & open LIne Item Detials.
Here check two things:
1. Update Document Flow
2. Ensure that in Copy Quantity there is blank.
