PI 7.11 : Https Protocol for RNIF adapter

Hello All,

I am trying to configure receiver RNIF adapter, I got the certificate from the cilent and installed it in PI server , Please let me know how to create "Keystore view" an "Keystore entry" , these are manatory fileds in the receiver CC for certificate logon.

Hello,

You can create those by:

1. log into nwa via http://host:port/nwa

2. go to the configuration management tab

3. under certificates and keys

4. create a view by selecting the Add View

5. once a view has been created, you can add certificates by using the import option.

Thanks for you reply, I have  added the View and installed  all there combination of certificate ( root, intermediate and Public key) but still I could not see my Keystore View and Entry in the value list.   I could see the selection criteria for the value list is Key = " private" and Key ALgorithm = " RSA" . I have not installed any private key with the certificate, I just got the cartificates from my customer, no provate key. Do I need a private key for Certificate Authentication in RNIF adapter? Is it good to ask the customer for a Private key?
