Error during End Point creation Solman 7.1 SPS05

Dear,

I have updated to SPS05 yesterday, and re-run solman_setup.

I am having issue in solman_setup point 4.3: Enable Web Service.

The phase which works well before, now has a red light, telling all web services can't be created.

Example of one of them:

Text(1)	CX_URLAPI_URL_EXCEPTION : Error during End Point creation
Long Text(1)	Error during End Point creation.
Text(2)	CX_SRT_WSP_CONFIG : Error when reading variant "ICMON_UI" of service definition "ICMON_UI": An exception occurred

Need urgent help on this one.

Yup.

Transport entries of table SRT_SA_APPL from SAP ERP to your Solution Manager and re-execute the step create web service.

Strangely, this is what I did on our test system and it fixed it. I did the exact same thing on our production system after the upgrade, and I still have 2 errors remaining with endpoints.

I'll try again to upload the table, maybe I missed something.

Just make sure your row has all values in the field.

I saw that entries were missing in WSHEADER for ICMON_UI_WS and WS_DIAGLS_SOLMAN_PING, I tried to fixed it directly on the production instance, but I lost patience and I simply transported back those 2 service definitions from the test system 🙂

and now it works.

It frightens me a bit to have things lost like this because of the upgrade, I fear something which is not tested by the setup is lost, and I won't notice it before long...

Lori, exactly the same hapened to me after SP5 update, and I solved with the solution you proposed.  I prefered to not use triks like this one but it was not risky and it worked. How did you get to this solution?

Here is SAP fix for the same problem in the note, with Solman SP7 you will get all the table content, but still you have to do repair as this note describes.
