milestone updates from carrier

How does TM interacts with carrier to receive any milestone update .Is there any standard Idoc or Badi AVAILABLE SO THAT once TM receives updates from carrier status is updated?

Hi Indraneel,

Sorry about the delay in responding.  I guess the simplest approach would be to have the carrier update the events in Event Manager (EM).  The Carrier Portal would provide one method of updating the events, but there are probably others as well.

Hi,

It will be useful if you can inform wheather to receive any GR/GI /ASN RELATED messages from any external  warehouse ( not SAP managed) wheather we shall use SAP em  or SAP tm to receive those messages.

Also to receive carrier messages like IFTSA does EM should be the leading system rather than TM or is there any BADI avalable in TM?
