Hello All,

Is there any SAP Standard Best Practice for High Seas Sales?

I believe there is no Standard Practice & companies generally follow a process similar to Third party Sales for High Seas Sales.

Still if anyone of you know about SAP Best Practice for High Seas Sales, do let me know.

Thanks,

Jignesh Mehta

Hi Jignesh,

Few functional insights from the same :

1) Transaction takes place 60 nautical miles away from Indian border in sea.

2) Actually you will find crane terminals in sea to execute these kind of transactions set up by third party operators.

3) Process does not contain any Excise related aspects.

3) In SAP, we follow third party sale process to execute high sea sales.

4) Pricing procedure contains only basic price, excise & insurance related condition types.

5) Order related billing.

Please add inputs from your side also.

Regards,

Balaji

Hi,

I guess the only difference is that High Sea Sales is used to save on the duties of import, otherwise the configuration is same, hence we cannot find any special Best Practices from SAP
