update SAP_APPL rel 600 to SAP_APPL rel 604 only

Dear Experts,

Below is my support pack details. Due to some functionality requirement i have to update SAP_APPL rel 600 to SAP_APPL rel 604.

Since i will do this first time, can i update this component only or i will have to update other component also?

Please suggest.

Ypou have installed EHP1 for netweaver (this is why you see many 701 entries).

in order to upgrade SAP_APPL 600 to 604, you MUST upgrade to ECC 6.0 to EHP4 for ERP. All SAP_* components in version 600 will be upgrade to 604 (but you will also upgrade other components at the same time)

Probably you have installed ERP 6.0 EHP4 ready system.

You can upgrade only Central application Technical usage (Component SAP_APPL & EA-APPL) to EHP4.

Do not select any other technical usage in MOPZ when you generate the stack XML file in your solution manager system. Then only the above 2 components would be patched .
