KBases published since 23.04.2012 are not coming up in search

The following are KBs I personally published since 23.04.3012 and none of these come up in the search:

1711136

1711050

1712637

1715394

1715332

1715391

1706157

1719985

1720264

1720670

1720637

I also have about 20 more KBs published by others that are not coming up. KBs published before this date (e.g.; 1708781, published on 17.04.2012) come up just fine.

Sorry Jason - yes we can close it. Many, many thanks for all the great work. BTW., the search now finds KBs without having to select "All of SAP". Another great achievement.

I think this is working.  I just did a search of one of the KB articles mentioned above, and the search results returned the correct SAP Note.  Here is the search query:

Umm, it's not working for anything published from the July 1 weekend on. So far the following that my team published are incognito:

1735049

1738869

1738840

1738851

1739286

1738291

1738289

1738331

1738292

1584095

1679575

1688115

1738825

1738796

1738819

Not sure what is happening here, but in general the history of KB searches is as follows:

When Jive 1st rolled out, no Kbs were coming up

Then there was a fix applied and KBs started to come up – if they were published before April 2011

Then another fix – KBs started to come up - as long as they were published before March of 2012

Then another fix on July 1 weekend, KBs published from March of 2012 show up.

Now, KBs published after July 1st do not show up…

I think I see a pattern here. Can anyone confirm the following for  me please:

  1. The noted KBs in this post indeed do not come up
  2. KBs published after every fix do not come up until the next fix....

Looks like the replication to SCN takes more than 48 hours or something. Most of these KBs are now available in the search.

You're observation is correct: indexing is not continuous and it will take at least 24hrs for new content to appear in search results.

Just wondering if I should report this as a bug?

This is related to the bug reported on

A fix will be applied Tuesday (June 19) that will resolve this issue.

One fix was applied but not the right one.  I just wrote to the search team again to investigate:

  1. Why SAP notes don't appear when launching a query from SCN
  2. Why the above recent additions do not appear at all in search
