SRM 7.0: Application Controlled workflow vs process controlled workflow

Hello

we have SRM 5.0 and Application Controlled workflow, now we are in a process of upgrade to SRM 7.0, we have doubs if it is posible to change in SRM 7.0 to Process controlled Worflow that are the default.

somebody have experience in change from application controlled workflow to process controlled wortflow in SRM 7.0???

If we change to PCW, the old workflows that we configured/develop in SRM50 continue working or we need reconfigure all workflows ?

Yes you need to configure all the workflows from the scratch if you change to PCW.

Hi,

As described by Malay, you have the option to choose your business workflow framework from SRM 7.0 onwards. However if you feel that the upgrade itself is challenging or if you have time constraints, you may continue with ACW framework for the time being.

Hi,

Yes. It's very much possible to change workflow from ACW to PCW but vis-a-vis it's a complicated process.

In 7.0 you have both option of process control and application control workflow.

It is recommended to use process controlled in 7.0

There is one limitation. Once you activate process control workflow you can not go back to application control workflow.

For your case you have to implement new process controlled workflows from scratch.
