Cant choose priority and system when creating a message in incident management

Dear all,

I would appreciate help from experienced solman consultants.

I have configured incident management and service desk and everything was working fine. Since yesterday I have not been able to choose message priority or system while creating a new incident.

Problems:

System and client fields are greyed out

I can only choose 3 in the Priority field

I have not been able to find the setting for changing these.

My user has full authorization and I have assigned all the incident and service desk roles.

Your input is much appreciated.

I finally managed to fix the problem.

It was caused by a wrong entry in table BCOS_CUST (SM30)

OSS_MSG was not set to NONE. When I set it to NONE it worked fine.

Also external ID of component SOL_MAN_DATA_REP was deleted for some reason from tx IB52.

Hopefully this will help someone with the same problem.

hi

you need to check ibase in ib52 with respect to systems involved

and also these must be present in your Business partner

so check in BP tcode

Thanks for your quick reply.

Could you please elaborate on what I need to do in IB52. I see all my systems in IB52 and I have assigned the systems to the business partners in BP but what do I need to do to fix the problems im facing.

If you could give me step by step description of what i can test.

  check the bp in bp transaction for you its 141 as per ur screenshot

goto role dropdown ..check the identification tab for General role ...system must be there
