ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1#ORA-01013

Hello experts,

I have been continuously getting the error in sm21 like "ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1#ORA-01013" in SAPSYS name.

What could be the termination happening by SAPSYS user. Please help me in resolving the error.

Thanks for your answer orkun. My problem the error is occuring in a name of SAPSYS. I just want to know that whether any process is getting terminating by SAPSYS.

As you know that SAPSYS is internal SAP user, but the problem is caused at the database level. So, you need to check trace under "usertrace", in order to find out the root cause.

Do we have any other alternate way to check. Because the error occurs not frequently and user trace will occupy more space in production system.

Hi Arun,

Unfortunately no. This is because there is no point in order to identify the problem with the information you gave. The best way to identify the problem is checking the trace files, under usertrace. The trace files does not make a load on the system.
