Project Settlement issue

We are facing an issue with setting the Project status to 'Close'.

Error says Project: XXXX.XX is not zero. The message says - “No transaction data posted since last settlement." when we try Automatic / Full Settlement options. CJI3 report is showing a $ value remained on Project (WBS), from a previous posting period which was not settled.

Q-1: Why is the message saying “No transaction data posted since last settlement.” even when "Full Settlement" option is selected, and, obviously there is an amount which was not settled.

Q-2: Please suggest a possible solution/workaround for the issue.

thanks for your inputs. The WBS Element had Settlement type 'PER' in Settlement rule. The settlement type was changed to 'FUL' and validity period is mentioned. The settlement run worked just fine.

In reply to Q-1, when you are trying to run CJ88, uncheck "Check trans. data" then execute CJ88. If problem comes, then revert back.

Hi,

Project will be closed only after-

1. NO PR/PO is opened

2. No GRN yet to make.

3. Stock is zero.

4. Everythis is settled to WBS by cj88(Auto settlement)

5. Full settlement has been made and no amount is left.

Check above.

It means that you have already settled all the amounts.

you can check cji3 for the posting period since last settlement period. Also check S_ALR_87013532, any amounts posted.
