SAP CRM Sales 2.0 overview of components

Hi all,

we're a bit struggling here to know which components and installations we exactly have to do to get our crm mobile 2.0 application working.

We do find a lot of information, but it's a bit contradictory.. we don't know what components we exactly need now, with what enhancement packages or service packs...

What we currently think we need is this:

• Sybase Unwired Platform 2.1.x
• SAP Netweaver Mobile 7.1 (with Gateway 1.1 to SAP netweaver mobile installed as Add-on)
• SAP CRM + crm add-on

But one of my collegues think that we need the Gateway 2.0 so he's thinking about this setting:

• Sybase Unwired Platform 2.1.x
• SAP Netweaver 7.3 with gateway 2.0 installed as an add-on
• SAP CRM + crm add-on

So can someone help me out with this? Thanks a lot!

Followings servers/components are required.

+ CRM backend server + CRM Sales add-on

+ SAP NetWeaver Mobile 7.1 + Gateway 1.1 to NetWeaver Mobile add-on = people call it DOE

+ SUP 2.1.* + Sybase SAP Connector add-on

+ SAP CRM Sales 2.0 mobile application.

Please note that "Gateway 1.1 to NetWeaver Mobile add-on" and "SAP NetWeaver Gateway" are completely different software components.

"SAP NetWeaver Gateway" is not required for SAP CRM Sales mobile application.

From SUP 2.1 ESD #1 (SUP 2.1.1) the sybase sap connector (DOE-C) is installed with SUP, the addon is no more necessary, rather if you install the addon you will overwrite the new version of DOE-C and you will get errors during deploy of ESDMA.

Sorry i use this thread to ask another question, hopefuly it's still relevant.

Can you tell me where to download SAP CRM Sales 2.0 mobile application? Is it the one that has platform code at the end of the name? like "MOB CRM SALES AND"? Because i can't find the SAP CRM Sales 2.0 mobile application option, but i can see the SAP CRM Sales menu in SWDC.

where can i get the "Sybase SAP Connector add-on"? I got all other tools and add-ons but I didn't read anything about a Sybase SAP Connector add-on.

The Sybase SAP Connector add-on is now installed automatically, when you install Sybase SUP 2.1.1 or higher.
