Integration of SAP Sourcing with SAP ERP Retail

Dear experts,

in our project we integrate SAP Sourcing on Demand Wave 7 with a SAP ERP 6.0 Retail system. Has anybody done this before and can share his/her experiences?

My main concern is about integrating materials, as SAP provides PI mapping content for materials / MATMAS-Idocs only. In contrast to this, retail systems have articles and send ARTMAS-Idocs to the PI.

Is somewhre out there a standard mapping of ARTMAS to MATMAS for PI that we can use, or is the retail system capable of sending MATMAS Idocs without any programming?

Hi Karsten,

this is not feasible out of the box.

There is custom work required to do the mappings. Both on the PI mappings and within SAP Soucing (extensions are required for articles).
