Automatic generation of notifications

Hi All,

There are certain notifications being generated automatically by the system.

I am trying to find out how.

I have check the inspection types configurations and the defect classes configurations.

No link is maintained between the notif type and inspection types/defect classes.

What could be the other reasons by which notifications are being generated.?

It is being generated through SAP CRM.

Hi Neeraj

Here is the cycle

Defect Code is associated with Defect class  and In Decfect Class config ther is option Activate Q-Notifcation. and Insepction type is associates with Defect type(See in Config)

And we can assign Defect Codes in MIC and check indicatore "Defect Recording".

So when we record defect, it seach for Defect Class which is associated with it and refer config that notication has to be activated or not And if do activation then which type of notification then it refers inspection type .

Try to remove the default notification from Inspection type .

That can only way.

It is a customized notification.

There is no notification assigned to the inspection type.

Hello Neeraj,

But when these notifications are getting auto created by system ? I mean after RR Reject or @ some other point... coz then check if any follow-up action in codes/code group is doing this.

Also check if any exit activated related to this notification function...

If its customized notificaiton then it must be some Z development that is done.

There is no other std way to create notificaion background apart from aforesaid customization for sure.
