Hi, I am a ABAP Consultant. I have got a requirement to filter some data in the table display in the Portal. It seems they were Java Components. My portal consultant gave me this 'sap.com/mss~eepro/ProfileMatchup'. So how can I know the component name? Can it be viewed in SE80. There are some set of data displayed on the table. I have to filter internally. Please help.
Hi Naveena,
If its a Java Component then, it has to be Web Dynpro Java and you can not see the Web Dynpro Java developments in SE80. SE80 can be used to see WebDynpro ABAP developments but not Web Dynpro Java Developments.
All Web Dynpro Java Development is done in SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio (NWDS).For Web Dynpro Java Developments, SAP NetWeaver Development Infrastructure(NWDI) is used with NWDS where all developments are held in NWDI tracks using Web Dynpro Java Development Components (DCs), Software Components(SCs) and Products.
'sap.com/mss~eepro/ProfileMatchup'- this seems like the standard Managers' Self Service (MSS) Business Package for Portal Content provided by SAP.

Hi,
SE80 is pure ABAP stuff and Java is other.
Form this words "filter some data in the table display in the Portal"
may be they were displaying data from ABAP side.So he may want you to check the data and you have to
do something in ABAP side to filter those data which is coming from ABAP side.
This link will give you small idea about what he gave.
