Hi all,

I have a remote WAS server and I have configured my J2ee engine configurations in Webdynpro . J2ee view I all the nodes where green, I tried deploying an application I gave the SDM password same as the Visual admin password

I did nt work . Complaining wrong password

Then I got a message SDM engine stopping and SDM node is never comming up eventhough I have restarted the whole instance ,

when I say all task start , SDM starts and then stops giving the error

>>The Java VM terminated with a non-zero exit code

Any help will be greatly appreciated

You should find more details about the error in the logs.

Take a look at . It refers to a note and where to find the logs.

The SDM password is a seperate password. It is not the same as your administrator password (the one you use to login to the visual administrator). When you try to login with a wrong password the SDM will shut down. You can change the SDM password, as described <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/43/042270123a2bc7e10000000a114cbd/content.htm">here</a>.

Hi,

If your administrative user gets locked, you can also activate the emergency user

SAP Note 669848 - Unlocking the Administrator User on the SAP J2EE Engine
