LDAP RFC in GRC10 takes all resources from server

Hi

We have configured an LDAP connection to retrieve user data and at the moment we are using the live search in access control.

All works perfectly when we assign correct filters for the search but if we perform a search without any filters the whole application crashes and we need to boot the server.

Any ideas why unfiltered searches consume all the resources and we cannot for example rely on the timeout but instead we need to hardboot the server?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Petteri,

Ideally, if you try to search the data from LDAP using Access Request, system uses the same logic which is used by Tcode LDAP for searching data using query.

It's more of dependency upon SAP v/s LDAP integration. More of, if you go to tcode LDAP and try to search the users without any filter creteria, you will face the same performance issue.

So you can check with your LDAP administrator who can help you to adopt all the significant SAP Note to increase the performance  while using integrated scenario like search users from LDAP.

Thanks & Regards

Neeraj

Hi,

Can you check the parameter 2050. Put this in "NO" and test.
