Hi All,

A simpler was is to navigate to the installed files e.g.:

C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP Business One Integration\IntegrationServer\Tomcat\webapps\B1iXcellerator

Open file xcellerator.cfg with suitable editor e.g. notepad

Set xcl.safemode=true.

Default is xcl.safemode=false

Restart Integration service from services.msc

Log into Integration Framework--> Tools --> Control Centre.

In new window Configuration --> User Admin UI-Users

Select the option to reset password for user B1iadmin

Change config file back to xcl.safemode=false and restart the windows service.

Log into integration framework without having to re-install 🙂

Thanks. Much faster and easier than reinstalling B1i.

Susan,

While there is no setup defined default password for the B1i user, there is a pretty good chance that it was set the same as default sa password.

This password, I'm sure is available to google somewhere on the internet, but I don't want to be personally responsible for making the default password more Google-able.

So anyway, in the setup documentation (administratorguide_sql.pdf) on page 17 it shows the password. You can find the document at https://websmp204.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000150922010E/B1_88_AdminGuides.zip

If this doesn't work, and it isnt the old default sa password, then you might have to go with Jimmy's answer and just reinstall.

Hi Susan

If  SAP Business One integration component is installed (check in windows control panel), Uninstall it, then again install it from package folder within SAP B1 installation folder.

During installation if you come across following issue

WARNING: The TCP/IP connection to the host superman, port 1433 has failed. Error: "Connection refused: connect. Verify the connection properties, check that an instance of SQL Server is running on the host and accepting TCP/IP connections at the port, and that no firewall is blocking TCP connections to the port.".

then follow below steps

1. Open the SQL Server Configuration Manager window. You can access this
window by choosing Start Menu -> All Programs -> Microsoft SQL Server 2005
-> Configuration Tools -> SQL Server Configuration Manager, and all the
installed SQL Server 2005 DB instances will be listed in the left tree.

    2. Expand SQL Server 2005 Network Configuration, all the protocol
configurations for each instance are listed there.

    3. Choose protocols for the default instance, all the protocols are listed
in the right panel, such as Named Pipes and TCP/IP.

    4. Double click on the protocol TCP/IP to open the TCP/IP Properties window.
From IP Address tab, in the IP All configuration group, clear the TCP Dynamic
Ports, and set TCP Port as an available port number other than 1433(For example,
    10433).

    5. Similar to the previous steps, open TCP/IP Properties window for the SQL
Server instance which you want to install SAP Business One Integration
Technology on, clear the TCP Dynamic Ports, and set TCP Port to 1433.

    6. Restart the default SQL Server instance from the SQL Server Configuration
    Manager -> SQL Server Services.

    7. Restart the SQL Server instance where SAP Business One Integration
    Technology will be installed.

After finish all the above steps, SAP Business One Integration Technology can
be installed on the specific DB instance successfully.

Then on Server field in the installation form just enter the server name without the instance name... It worked for me!

Good Luck

Hi Susan,

The password of B1i and B1iadmin is different. B1i password

If you have forgotten your B1iadmin password, here is the temporary workaround:

1. Uninstall the SAP Business One integration component.

2. Install the SAP Business One integration component and make sure to

set the correct password for user "B1iadmin" for both "Password" and

   "Password Confirmation".

Gitu aja kok report (keep it simple )

Hi Susan......

As far as Password is concern you can reset that through Administration--> Setup--> General--> Users--> Select B1i and change it.

But you have to do it through Superusers ID.......
