SAP's sFTP/PGP Adapter

Hi Experts

We installed SAP's sFTP/PGP Adapter on our PI 7.11 version. We want to send data to external vendor via key authentication. I have couple of questions on Key Pair Generation and Key Storage

1. Can I generate the key pair from NWA or do I need to install any open source to generate the key pair?

2. Where do I install/store the public keys sent by vendor

3. Where do I store encryption keys from vendor?

4. How do I generate the encryption keys to provide to vendor?

I assume all the keys storage and key generation should be done through Key Store in NWA but not able to find proper documentation for the same. I searched through for OSS Notes and SCN. I tried creating view in the Key Store but they are not visible in the Adapter.

Any help on this process is appreciated. Thanks!!

Hi  Lakshmi,

For creation of private/public keys you can use Portecle application (freeware).

For installation of certificates you need to go to http://host:50000/nwa to Configuration - Security - Certificate and Keys. Create a keystore to put all your certificates and install.

Aflter you have installed the certificates, there are available on adapter.
