any idea hw to do this..

The width of the Navigation Area, although it can be changed by a user during a session, returns to the default width the next time the user opens up the portal.

User Action

User expands or contracts the width of the navigation channel via existing controls.

System Response:

System remembers the final width and restores the navigation channel to that width next time the user opens up the portal.

that was not of much help.

i cud read about how to make themes but cud get no idea on how to change the settings i desired and that needs to be done at run time when the user changes the size of various areas.
