Availibility check for two sales order

Former Member

Hi,

I have the following scenario:

I have a material X which is in stock (2pcs) unrestricted use.

I created two sales order the first one with delivery date 24/6 for the material X (1pcs) and the second one with delivery date 30/6 for the same material (3pcs).

Now If I modify the first sales order (the one for the material X, delivery date 24/6), system says that availibility check  could

confirm is 0, but I've 2 in unrestricted use.

If I check the availibility from the second sales order (the one for the material X. delivery date 30/6), system replies that he could confirm for that date 2 pcs for that date.

I don't understand why system prioritizes the second sales order (delivery date 30/6) which has a delivery date that is subsequent to the first sales order (delivery date 24/6) ?

Is there a solution to this strange behaviour ?

I would deliver the same product to the customer that has the oldest delivery date in the sales order and not the opposite

Thanks

Best regards

Is it for different customers? If so, then check the customer master, delivery priority values assignment. Remove the values and check again.
