location based perdiems

Hi

My client has a requirement is that, if an employee stays on ON BASE and Off BASE LOCATION, he is eligible to get a different per Diem rate other than the standard perdiems. i.e.

Standard Perdiems: $20

ON BASE location Perdiems = General Perdiems of $ 20+ on base $5

OFF BASE location Perdiems = General Perdiems of $20+8

We are planning set this indicator in back end and thru portal.

Tried with the following option.

1. 1. Have gone thru the FITVFELD screen option and explored Location - PTK05_N-ZORT1 and Location - PTP02-ZORT1. 
2. 2. Changing the un used field Vehicle Type: Vehicle Type - PTP68-KZPMF.

Not sure the impact of the above filed Vehicle type PTP68-KZPMF.

I need to specify in a system to trigger on base or off base Perdiems for the respective employees.

Hi,

There are certain ways to do it..

First of all i don't think so you can use location or  Vehicle Type in this case.. because per diem is calculating on below parameters..

• Trip country
• Trip region
• Enterprise-specific trip type
• Statutory trip type
• Trip activity type
• Statutory reimbursement group for meals/accommodations
• Enterprise-specific reimbursement group for meals/accommodations

You can use any one of them depending upon your current configuration or requirement.

• Region
• Enterprise-specific trip type
• Statutory trip type
• Trip activity type
