Hello,
We have requirement where we will assign material A , B and C to Project with reservation for WBS element. Then we will run MRP and this A, B and C will be in Project Stock.
Now in sales order , we are assigning material Z which is A+B+C. So we are creating sales order with Z and then creating invoice. At the same time we are doing MB1A for A , B and C manually to book consumption.
Now we need that we will create sales order with Z and then do delivery so that A ,B,C will be booked again consumption and Z will hit COGS which will reduce the step of manual consumption MB1A.
But Z for other project may be Z = A+B+C+D. In short not constant.
Please guide how to map such requirement in SAP PS-SD.
Regards
Raghav
Hi,
You can create Sales order BOM, where Z(header)= A+B+C. Here, Gen. item category group(Basic data 1) in material master will play an important role, either ERLA or LUMF will be used then create Sales order line item by using material Z. and assign WBSE to it. After doing this create a delivery and do the PGI, this will result the consumption of material A, B and C.
Also discuss it with your SD and MM consultant.
Thanks

Dear Raghav,
Please follow below steps:
Create sales order with Z material and automatic Project will create (Assembly Processing) otherwise create Project manually and assign WBS as account assignment in sales order and Sales order number in network.
Create BOM & Routing for Z material with materials A, B, & C. than using Plan order create production order and confirmation of operation for assembly of Z material. this will also done using PS only using 281 & 581 movement type consumption and GR for network respectively.
after receiving Z material in project stock we will create delivery and invoice.
thanks
Sunil
