Operation in sxmb_moni

Hi experts,

I have outbound service interface which having the 3 operation .

I need to search xml message based on that operation in sxmb_moni

when i am putting 1 operation name  on sxmb_moni (sender operation field) it can not filter based on the operation name

its displaying all the xml messages. Do i need some configuration....?

Did you name the sender interface name as well? Use the following set of parameters:

i have given the filter criteria exactly as you mention.

but it cannot filter , it displaying all the message belongs to sender service interface.

Check the SAP Note 1689326 - Selection of Web service messages via operation. It looks like it solves your problem.

one important thing is that in sender operation for all xml message are blank.

why its having blank. it must have operation value write ?

What is your sender adapter? Does the sender system mention the operation when sending data to PI?

sender system using client proxy .

no required for sender adapter .

R/3 is calling  3 method of proxy class based on the requirement.

why am i not able to see the sender operation in sxmb_moni.

Hi Priya,

In PI 7.1, Operation column in SXMB_MONI will always empty.

PI Runtime only 'knows' interfaces. Thereforethe operation is not shown in monitor for PI messages. This field is presently only used for messages that are processed in the WS Runtime.

This is the limitation of PI Even i am using PI 7.3 and facing the same problem.

It is possible with only WS runtime.

I m closing the thread.
