i need to configure the SAP Netweaver gateway to communicate with Sybase Unwired Platefor 2.1.2. After i did all the configuration when i made test connection it gave an error called HTTPIO_PLG_CANCELED. what is meant by this error.? i followed the steps mentioned in this link
Please check in tcode SMICM -> Goto trace file, after performing connection test. Also try to increase the trace level if obvious errors are not visible.
Well you trying make the SAP Netweaver system to 'talk' to the SUP platform. This communication channel on the SAP Netweaver side is being created via SM59 - HTTP RFC connection.
As per the parameter definition in SM59 (for HTTP RFC conenction), you need to define the target address - which is logical. Target is recognized via a hostname, port(where service runs) and path prefix(path after the hostname leading to the service you need).
As per your error message you may have made mistake in defining any one of the above. To make sure the path is correct, try opening the http://<hostname>:<service port>/<path prefix> via a browser. This should verify that the link is correct. If it opens in the browser, try entering the values in SM59 screen.
If it still fails then you need to check the SMICM logs via SMICM tcode as I mentioned in the first post.
