Hi All,
In Text Node we are having the Include Text as Text Type. What is the use of it?.could you please provide an example on it.
Regards,
S.Kishore.
Hi Chaitanya,
The Standard texts can be created using TCODE SO10 for particular Language.
Standard text are used to minimize the Code changes for Smartforms/scripts.
Eg:
Suppose you have Footer text in smartform as follows:
VAT No.: 118507GG688 | ID No.: BG1185078A69 | GM: JOHNS RIETBERGES
BANK DETAILS: IBON: BG27UNCR789P6301075913181 | BICD: UNCR66BGSF
Now if Vat number changes to 118507GG6999999 and if SO10 object is not created for Footer and this footer is hardcoded in smartform then you have to make changes in footer window of smartform and this will create New Transport Request.
So you have to import this Transport Req on Quality and Production server after changing Smartforms.
This is time consuming and leads Technical person's ( ABAPER ) intervention.
To overcome this, we create SO10 objects so that without ABAPER intervention, User can maintain SO10 object and import on prduction or can directly change SO10 object on production also.
This ensures Reusibility and improves client satisfaction.
Best Regards,
Sachin

Hi,
The purpose of include text nodes in smartform is to re-use application texts or standard texts that are stored. e.g. Standard texts can be created ibn transaction SO10. These can then be included in a smartform via the text type 'Include Text'.

Aidan
