Serial Numbers in the Refurbishment Order

Hi,

I would like to have some clarifications in the refurbishment order.


Refurbishment order process:-

1. Return the damaged part to the stores by using the MB1A 202 movement type or against order(262 movement type).At the time of returning the spare part, we need to enter the serial number by using the "create serial number automatically" option.
2.At the time of creation of refurbishment order by using IW81 again we need to enter the serial number.Here which serial number we need to enter?whether it is same as created in the step number 1?
3. At the time of issue of spare part for refurbishment against the order created in the step number 2, which serial number part we should issue?whether it is same as in the step number 1?

Or we need to create new serial number every time (means in all theree steps)?

Any body can focus some light on this.

hi

while issuing back the damaged part you have created a serial number say A, then the same to be used for material issued for refurbishement and the same to be entered while good receipt after refurbishment
